Platform 5 is looking for a senior creative to join their studio. As a Senior Creative, you will be responsible for developing creative ideas that successfully translate a client’s brand and business requirements into a digital marketing environment. You will be required to work closely with a team of designers, art directors, copy writers and community managers and should be comfortable pitching concepts to clients. This is a unique opportunity for a well-rounded creative looking to take on more responsibility and move into an Associate Creative Director Role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in a team with the Creative Director to conceptualise work and build campaigns and concepts
- Translate briefs and strategic requirements into compelling creative solutions
- Work with other disciplines within the agency to ensure cohesive team integration and alignment with broader business objectives
- Lead brainstorms and sessions
- Lead the craft and design of an idea
- In depth knowledge of digital marketing
- Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in our content
- Write original copy for ads and social networks
- Prepare and publish articles that describe our company and products
- Edit and fact-check pieces of content generated by junior team members
- Use SEO practices to optimise articles and increase visibility
- Liaise with Designers to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts
- Shape language and tone used in all content across the agency
- Lead the craft and design of an idea
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven working experience as Senior Creative/Senior Copywriter role
- Must have previous agency experience with at least 1/2 years in a senior position
- An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g. scripts) and smaller texts (e.g. social media posts)
- Hands on experience with image selection, art direction, shoot production
- Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Demonstrable graphic design skills or copywriting skills with a strong portfolio
- Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well
- Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
- Relevant education or training
- Solid time-management skills
