We are looking for a multilingual digital-savvy Community Manager to take control of our reputable brands online voice and build awareness and loyalty.  You will be working closely with a team of designers, art directors, copy writers and other community managers and should be comfortable engaging in brainstorms.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with online community and respond to comments and requests in a timely manner
  • Setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Providing engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
  • In depth knowledge of digital marketing
  • Perform tasks independently
  • Brainstorm ideas around creating engaging content
  • Relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Devise and implement community communication initiatives
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews

 

Requirements

  • Proven working experience managing social platforms
  • Must have 1-3 years’ experience
  • Able to speak two or more South African languages
  • Hands on experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube is essential
  • Knowledge of Sprout Social or similar programs to manage online postings on different platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques
  • Incorporate feedback and take direction well
  • Desire to develop and learn
  • Team player
  • 3 year Degree or relevant Diploma is advantageous
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Solid time-management skills
